Escursione guidata – Monte Carone: una vetta sul lago

Livello Difficoltà: Intermedio (non adatto a cui soffre di vertigini)

Escursione di grande valenza storica e panoramica, che si svolge lungo il confine tra Lombardia e Trentino, un tempo frontiera dell’ Impero Austro-ungarico, come testimoniano i resti delle fortificazioni militari che si incontrano sul tragitto.
Dal Rifugio degli Alpini si raggiunge il passo Bestana e successivamente Bocchetta Fortini per poi proseguire su sentiero che sale dolcemente nel bosco.
Compiendo ampi tornanti si raggiunge un canalone che si risale grazie ad una spettacolare scalinata (circa 250 gradini), costruita nella roccia durante la Guerra dagli Alpini, a tratti esposta ma resa più agevole dalla presenza di cordini metallici. Usciti dal canalone si prosegue tra ruderi di baraccamenti e postazioni fino alla vetta, dove la vista si apre sul gruppo del Baldo, il lago di Garda mentre sullo sfondano svettano il Carè Alto, la Presanella ed il gruppo del Brenta. Nei pressi della cima si trovano i resti di una postazione di artiglieria antiaerea. Scendendo su un facile sentiero, si raggiunge Baita Segala e ci si ricongiunge con il cammino dell’andata con breve deviazione per visitare il cimitero militare.

I cani non sono ammessi.
Dal Punto di partenza si proseguirà con la propria auto fino a Passo Nota. 

ATTENZIONE: I percorsi sono indicati per persone con una discreta esperienza escursionistica in ambienti naturali, in buone condizioni psico-fisiche, senza problemi cardiaci, alta pressione, epilessia o altre malattie o disfunzioni che possano pregiudicare o mettere in pericolo l’iscritto o il gruppo durante l’esperienza.

GUIDA: L’escursione prevede l’accompagnamento da parte di una guida abilitata. La guida parla italiano e inglese.

EQUIPAGGIAMENTO: Si consiglia abbigliamento adeguato per la quota 1200 metri.

Guided Escursion – Monte Carone: A peak overlooking the lake

A hike of great historical and scenic value, taking place along the border between Lombardy and Trentino, once the frontier of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, as evidenced by the remains of military fortifications encountered along the route.
From Rifugio degli Alpini, you reach Passo Bestana and then Bocchetta Fortini, before continuing along a trail that gently ascends through the forest.
Following wide switchbacks, you arrive at a gully that is climbed via a spectacular staircase (about 250 steps), built into the rock by the Alpini during the war. Some sections are exposed but made easier by the presence of metal cables. After exiting the gully, the trail continues among ruins of barracks and military positions up to the summit, where the view opens onto the Monte Baldo group and Lake Garda, with Carè Alto, Presanella, and the Brenta group rising in the background. Near the summit are the remains of an anti-aircraft artillery position.
Descending along an easy trail, you reach Baita Segala and rejoin the outward route, with a short detour to visit the military cemetery.

Dogs are not allowed.
From the meeting point, participants will continue with their own cars to Passo Nota.

WARNING: The routes are intended for people with a reasonable level of hiking experience in natural environments, in good physical and mental condition, and without heart problems, high blood pressure, epilepsy, or other illnesses or conditions that could compromise or endanger the participant or the group during the experience.

GUIDE: The excursion includes accompaniment by a certified guide. The guide speaks Italian and English.

EQUIPMENT: Suitable clothing for an altitude of 1,200 meters is recommended.

Geführter Ausflug – Monte Carone: Ein Gipfel über dem See

Eine Wanderung von großer historischer und landschaftlicher Bedeutung, die entlang der Grenze zwischen der Lombardei und dem Trentino verläuft, einst die Grenze des Österreichisch-Ungarischen Reiches, wovon die entlang des Weges anzutreffenden Überreste militärischer Befestigungen zeugen.
Von der Rifugio degli Alpini erreicht man den Passo Bestana und anschließend die Bocchetta Fortini, bevor man auf einem Weg weitergeht, der sanft durch den Wald ansteigt.
Über weite Serpentinen gelangt man zu einer Rinne, die man über eine spektakuläre Treppe (ca. 250 Stufen) erklimmt, die während des Krieges von den Alpini in den Fels gebaut wurde. Einige Abschnitte sind ausgesetzt, werden jedoch durch vorhandene Metallseile erleichtert. Nach Verlassen der Rinne führt der Weg weiter vorbei an den Ruinen von Baracken und Stellungen bis zum Gipfel, wo sich der Blick auf die Monte-Baldo-Gruppe und den Gardasee öffnet, während im Hintergrund der Carè Alto, die Presanella und die Brenta-Gruppe aufragen. In Gipfelnähe befinden sich die Überreste einer Flugabwehrstellung.
Über einen einfachen Weg steigt man ab, erreicht die Baita Segala und trifft wieder auf den Aufstiegsweg, mit einem kurzen Abstecher zum Militärfriedhof.

Hunde sind nicht erlaubt.
Vom Treffpunkt aus fährt man mit dem eigenen Auto weiter bis zum Passo Nota.

ACHTUNG: Die Routen sind für Personen mit ausreichender Wandererfahrung in der Natur gedacht, in guter körperlicher und geistiger Verfassung und ohne Herzprobleme, Bluthochdruck, Epilepsie oder andere Krankheiten bzw. Einschränkungen, die die teilnehmende Person oder die Gruppe während der Tour gefährden könnten.

FÜHRUNG: Die Wanderung erfolgt in Begleitung eines zertifizierten Guides. Der Guide spricht Italienisch und Englisch.

AUSRÜSTUNG: Es wird geeignete Kleidung für eine Höhe von etwa 1.200 Metern empfohlen.
